After 37 years—almost 11 of which I had the privilege of spending under your wing, some years more closely than others, it’s difficult to put the full impact of your leadership into words.
Put simply, it has been one of the true honors of my career. I want to express once more how profoundly you’ve shaped the leader I am today. Even without formal mentorship or needing to say much directly, you taught me so much: how to show up with professionalism and integrity, how to always put our customers first, how to manage our resources wisely, and how to keep teams aligned, disciplined, and focused on what really matters. You influenced how I think, how I operate, and how I lead. I’ve been paying attention, even when no longer under the business – watching, learning, absorbing your standards. And I am sincerely grateful for the example you’ve set.
I often think back to my early days in marketing – preparing you for trade media interviews, being extra prepared to present you and secure budgets, and seeing firsthand the discipline, clarity, and conviction that defined your leadership. Then came the years when we pushed into flight operations – from Flight Services to Flightscape – bold, challenging, and transformative chapter for all of us. And in more recent years, having the privilege to support your communications, continue to earn your blessing on press releases, craft your town halls, and help shine the right light on your accomplishments and legacy has meant more to me than you know. Being entrusted with telling even a small part of your story has truly been a privilege.
I’m extremely proud to have worked under your organization, for you, and alongside you. For all of this, and for so much more, thank you—from the bottom of my heart. Your impact will stay with me always.
Thank you, and wishing you all the best in your next chapter! Enjoy those precious moment with your growing family! Cheers, Aline
